Welcome to the introductory page of the Capabilities and Accountability Excellence digital book. This digital book, on the AGILEdge website, focuses on two inter-related areas.  The first, "delivering capabilities", deals with creating a culture of accountability where members of a team and organization are up front with their problems and challenges, where they set specific, realistic  but stretch goals related to the overall success of the organization and where they hold themselves publicly accountable for achieving results(and collaborate openly to get there).  The second is the capabilities delivery cycle which is a key foundation for leadership and which is a cycle dependent on a culture of accountability. This begins with relevant information (internal and external) , then continues until this is turned into relevant knowledge and most importantly, until appropriate capabilities and desirable actions are implemented as a result.

More simply, this material focuses on ideas and tools to help ensure people perform at their highest levels relative to the overall success of an organization..
